Career and Academic Background

As an operations consultant, Ricardo has worked as a contractor, consultant and as Executive leader in Operations and Technical Services for various companies. Ricardo has proven experience in Mining, Processing, Maintenance and Project Development, having worked in a variety of countries, projects and positions which have contributed to his understanding of many cultures and business operating models. He is an operations specialist having worked for more than 8 years in consulting industry, and having worked the full scale of the industry, from supply chain, maintenance, and operations. With this broad experience Ricardo is quickly able to debottleneck and detect process improvement opportunities to quickly re design the processes and bring a solution looking to increase efficiency and productivity based on KPI’s / KVI’s.

Ricardo has participated in engagements in North, Central and South America, Africa, in more than 15 different OP and UG manufacturing operations. He has experience performing business process redesign, operational transformations, operations integration, production and productivity improvements, safety improvements, and business optimization.

Ricardo has a Marketing Degree from Universidad Interamericana para el Desarrollo (Consortium Anahuac University), Mexico.
